Hi Everyone!
I'm here in a new pueblito, called Chos Malal. It's really hot, and really dry, but there are mountains to see so it isn't quite like Portales. But, I can see the sunsets now! Ooh, I missed those! It's great here with my Canadian companion, Hermana Miller. She's a hoot and everyone loves her. She's full of energy and love for everyone.
We get to cook every day here, in other areas we get lunches from members, but here there are about 10 members so we get to cook everything. We've been trying to change up our diet and have succeeded in cooking Stir Fry, tacos, and a classic meat and potatoes. We get excited to cook and get creative :)
We laugh about how everyone stares at the two gringas walking down the street in skirts. Good news is everyone is curious as to what exactly we're doing in Argentina and we talk to a lot of people because of their curiosity!
I had the blessing of passing my 20th birthday here in Chos Malal and we had a little fiestita with a family from the church here. My favorite part was the can of fake snow that I got drenched with after I blew out the candles.
I don't have much in the way of time so I'll head out now! But I love you guys! And I hope that in this season of Christmas you are all remembering the true meaning of the celebration.
