Last month!

Well, this week was pretty interesting! Starting out with monday, Hna Larmouth and I ate some empanadas that weren't THAT great...and made us feel a little strange. Luckily we didn't get sick, but let's just say we won't be going back to "La Casa de Empanadas" haha!
We also found a plaza with my last name, they spelled it wrong though. ;)
Wednesday, 18 of November, 2015: my last "cumplemes". We had our district meeting and afterwards, the missionaries in my district surprised me with cake and ice cream and comments about how I go home soon. As much as I love my home and am excited to return, leaving the mission might be the hardest part. You grow to love the people so much, and there is nothing better than being in the service of the Lord.
We had divisions with a companionship of Hermanas in a little town called Centenario. Hermana Hansen and I both had to go do some legal visa paperwork in Neuquén and then she had to do some medical paperwork (she is the mission nurse) so we went to the chapel to work on the computer there. A member was kind enough to let us in and then...forgot we were there and locked us inside. Thankfully, Hna Hansen has the phone number of pretty much all of the missionaries and we made the phone call, laughing of course, to the elders so that they could come save us. The elder sounded pretty surprised when I said we were locked in if they could please come let us out.
We also had a great training broadcasted from Buenos Aires about how we should work in Ward Counsels. Elder Cook presided and all of the talks and tips were incredible! I don't know if it is available to everyone else, it was for the area, but if you can find it, I highly advise watching it.
Saturday, we did some service with a few young men. One of our investigators, Mari, is in a wheelchair and needed help cutting the grass. It was getting pretty long. Everyone was a little taken aback when I used the lawn mower. In a skirt.
This sunday the elections for president were held so we were instructed to go to church and then stay inside our apartments for the rest of the day. After almost a year and a half of missionary work, it was very strange to not be doing visits or anything like that. When the night came, I couldn't sleep because I hadn't gotten tired!
Luis, another investigator, came to church again yesterday, and seemed to have a good time. This week the bishop is going to go with us to visit him! He is so great, Luis. He just wants his family to be happy and united, in a church. His family isn't supportive of him listening to "las Mormonas" but he is sticking it out. We have had some very spiritual lessons with him and I am praying that he can recognize the answers to his prayers.

Hermana Hannah Christensen
